As an SEM (Search Engine Marketing) Executive, your role is to manage and optimize paid search campaigns to drive targeted traffic and achieve business objectives.
You will be responsible for creating, implementing, and monitoring SEM strategies across various search engine platforms. Your expertise in SEM techniques, data analysis, and campaign optimization will contribute to improving online visibility, increasing website traffic, and generating quality leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute SEM strategies
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify relevant search terms and phrases.
- Create and optimize paid search campaigns across search engine platforms (such as Google Ads, Snap Ads etc.).Define campaign objectives, budgets, and bidding strategies.
- Write compelling ad copy and ensure adherence to brand guidelines.
- Implement tracking and measurement tools to monitor campaign performance.
- Campaign management and optimization: Continuously monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement.
- Adjust bidding strategies and budget allocations to maximize return on investment (ROI).
- Conduct A/B testing of ad copy, landing pages, and other campaign elements to optimize performance.
- Implement optimization techniques such as keyword optimization, ad scheduling, and targeting refinements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to proactively optimize campaigns.
Reporting and analysis:
- Generate regular performance reports, providing insights and recommendations for campaign enhancement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as click-through rate (CTR), conversion rate, and cost per acquisition (CPA).
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for campaign improvement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align SEM efforts with overall marketing goals and strategies.
- Stay informed on industry trends and tools:
- Keep abreast of changes in SEM algorithms, features, and policies of major search engine platforms.
- Explore new tools, technologies, and industry trends to enhance SEM strategies.
- Participate in training and professional development activities to continuously improve SEM skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing SEM campaigns, preferably in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of SEM platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads) and their features.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, and campaign optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Data Studio).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Continuous learning attitude to stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
